" 2 F MO Levi Cox is my Grgrgrandfather, and Samuel W. is his brother. The other 2 adult males are sons of Mary from a previous marriage (Thomas Cox). Could you please check for me to see if you can find ANYTHING on this family in this county. I would like to know Samuel and Levi's parents. By this census, I would assume they, (or at least Mary, since Nathan was born there 19 years ago) have been in the county for almost 20 years. Maybe not Levi, since he was born in Indiana. Would you check the 1850 census to see if you could find either Samuel, or Levi? Either as head of their own household, or in with another family? I would appreciate any information you could find in Mercer County, and I thank you in advance.
