He is listed in the 1850 Buchanan Co. census with his father, step-mother Rebecca PREWITT, and younger brother, John B, age 14, born in MO. At some point, they moved to Mercer Co., where John S. was a millwright. When John S. died in 1862, James was mentioned in his will. Would like to know what happened to James. Where did he go? Whom did he marry? And most importantly, who was his mother? Thanks for any information.
