Miss Yates Dies At Home Of Her Nephew Miss Fannie Yates died last Wednesday at the home of her nephew, Hershal Yates. She was 88 years old. The funeral was held Thursday from the Salem Church. Burial was made in the cemetery nearby. Miss Yates was a daughter of Elza and Rachel Yates and was born Aug. 30, 1852. She had made her home with her nephew the last ten years. She is survived by a brother, James Yates, of Spickard and Hershal Yates. Note: Note in the Mercer Co., Missouri cemetery book.
