James married Deborah Wright, d/o Hiram and Nancy Vinzant Wright, in 1859. The family history shows a Sarah Stark, born in 1854, as a daughter of James. She died, along with James and a half-sister, Elizabeth, in 1899 in Atwood, Kansas. Could it be possible a second James Stark married Matilda Hopkins? I was told the James Stark who married Matilda Hopkins is buried in Missouri. Does anyone know anything about an earlier marriage for my James Stark that would have resulted in a daughter, Sarah? Or was Sarah the daughter of another relative? James, son of Mahlon, was a United Brethren minister. Please reply to me directly because I'm not on the Mercer list. Any help appreciated - thanks.
