Also my grandfather, John Robert Ashcroft(Ashcraft) and great-grandfather, Robert Ashcroft were in Mercer Co. My grandfather was born there circa 1864 (?). Any leads on this family would be appreciated. I do have them on the 1870 Census & 1880 census. They moved to Mercer Co. about 1861-2 from Ohio. I am interested in tracing the families of John Robert's siblings. Thanks. Betty
