Before giving the pupils in this school in 1860, I want to tell you the source of what I'll be putting on this list. I love books and noticed "old books" in a yard sale east of Princeton a few years ago, so I went to the sale, found an interesting book, an old agriculture book, with many interesting items pasted into it. I realized it was a treasuretrove of genealogical material for Mercer County and asked the lady how much she wanted for the book. She looked it over and said, "Oh, this was Grandma Taylor's old book and it isn't worth much, would 75 cents be too much?" I snatched it up for 75 cents and the material will be shared from this old book. This is the only time I'll give the history of the book.
