Vicki--I do not have any info on James Robert Ashcraft/Ashcroft. My grandfather was John Robert Ashcroft born in Princeton, Mercer Co.in 1865. His father was Robert, born in Armagh Co. Ireland about 1775. He was married to Leticia, also born in Armagh Co. Ireland. Sorry but there doesn't seem to be a connection. Let me know if your discover one!! Betty
