Rick, What a wonderful Christmas present! Who were Laura's parents? The Craigs came to Mercer Co. and neighboring Harrison Co. in the mid-1800s and lived near Cainsville. They are descended from Roderick Craig, Revolutionary War veteran. -Judy

Barrett and/or Laura Craig, who were married on June 20, 1895 in Mercer County, MO. They are on my wife's family's side, and I am writing a historical short story about them as a Christmas Present to my mother and father in law. William and Laura left Mercer County in 1900, and moved to homestead in Gage, Oklahoma. William was shot and killed in a land dispute on October 18, 1918, which is the crux of the story. But I need to get the historical data, and a sense of who William and Laura were, and their life and times. Thank you.

I'd be quite interested in knowing why....and where the rest of the family might have been. They were: father Issac Durham (b 1810 in NC, d 1885 in Princeton NC), mother Nancy Campbell Durham (b 1837, Knox county, KY), brothers Alexander (b 1860 in MO), John F and William (birth dates and locations unknown), James A. Please pardon the off topic but... Just a short note about "Virus Found" People who do genealogy don't necessarily know when they are going to get, "a hole in our brick wall." With a proper virus protection program we will be safer from "just what if?" Get a virus protection program. !!!!Keep it updated.!!!! All of the below listed have different aspects as to: When they run, how much resources they use, etc. Some have a program you can run specifically on a separate, individual e mail to "test it" to see if it is OK I make no testimonials about any program listed below and this list isn't necessarily inclusive. All I can comment is NOBODY is 100% safe. Just hedge your bets. You can spray for roaches until it kills the cat. These two are free: AGV http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.cfm Vcatch http://www.vcatch.com/home.html or a commercial brand. Most of these are downloadable for free for a minimum 30 days. pay or disabled after that. Most can be purchased in Office, Electronics, or Computer stores, Wal-Mart(?) etc. Definitely on the internet. I received this yesterday and opted not to open it. I scanned it and YES it has a virus. Please be warned in case you get it from anyone. I am sending this to my entire address book on the chance that I know that sometimes these things can forward themselves automatically -K >From: "Dana Brier"<brier@nauticom.net> >To: abalpacas@a1pro.net >Subject: PA Chart2 >Date: Sun, 22 Jul 2001 18:07:32 -0400 > >Hi!
