    2. This Stanley is persaon that Stanley Corners is named for in Mercer Co. I beleive this is the crossroads just south of the St. Paul Church and Cem. in Mercer Co. Seems someone told me that Union School was located on this courner. James 1st married Ann Marie Ward 09-04-1880 in Decatur Co IA , 2nd married Martha (Mattie) Cunningham (daughter of Alexander Cunningham and Sarafina Lemon, grand daughter of John and Mary Cunningham of Mercer Co MO) 1890 in Vernon Co MO. They lived in Cedar Co MO and are buried there. They had 2 known children Myrtle dob May 1893 and Ruth dob August 1896 (married a Holladay). Harvey Stanley dob February 1864 Mercer Co MO, son of John Stanley dob 1827 TN and Ann Eliza Cunningham dob 1833 VA. Harvey married Lizzie H ? dob March 1855 KY, were in Sarpy NE in 1896 and Bates Co MO in 1900. They had 2 children Franklin R dob 1887 and Harvey Lee dob September 1890. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have some information on John and Ann Eliza (Cunningham) Stanley and their other children and spouses : John L. and Nancy Margerum Stanley, Burbin and Geanette Hall Stanley, and David and Martha Jane Stanley Lane. Gertrude Lindsey, born 16 Sep 1869 in Ottumna Iowa; died in Wallace Co. Ks. 1925 and returned to Princeton, Mercer Co., Mo. for burial in Lowry Cemetery. She was the daughter of Jacob D. Lindsey and Jane Catherine Webb Mercer co. Mo.. Remarried Charles Girdner 1898/1900 after death of J. W. MILLER. Children of J.
