Do you know if there is any native americans in these families? The William Turner that I have been looking for was from Tennessee and his wife was from South Carolina around 1830's coming through Indiana to Missouri.They were listed on the Carroll County,Missouri census 1850 around the Grand River Township area. I think that McDonald County is in the Lower Southwestern part of Missouri almost to the Arkansas line including towns like: Anderson,Goodman,Pineville, Jane, Noel...do any of these sound like the town you are looking for?
