My grandmother was a Woodard. Her mother was Kerry Francis Braziel who married John Adolphis Woodard son to George Washington (Wash) Woodard. Yes, he (Wash) was hanged, in front of his family, by "bushwhackers" in 1862. Check out the Barry Co site for lots of info on the Woodard and all their kin.
