Andrew Perry Cantrell was married twice and I am a decendent of his second wife Sarah Davis. One of their daughters was my grandmother Dona Caroline Cantrell (Penn). He had a total of about 21 children between the 2 marriages. I know where he is burried, but he was burried by his first wife. My great-grandmother was part Indian (Cherokee) we are almost certain. I don't know about the Indian through the Cantrell line, that was through the Davis line. I do have information and like I said I do know where he and his first wife are burried. It is a little cemetery that was totally undiscovered until about 1997 when my brother and I followed a lead my Dad told me about and went looking. We uncovered about 25 years of leaves in Feb and cleaned the place up and put the Genealogy Society of McDonald county on the trail because at that time it was not in any of the books. I probably have got lots of interviews with Floyd Penn who was the fam! ily historian as far as I was concerned. He knew about the Cantrells and the Penns.
