Had heard from Jan here, but am not sure if she ever got my email. I would like to share information on Capps, Moore, Bullard, Clark, Sumner families. I descend from Squire Moore and his first wife Rebecca Capps, via their daughter Lucinda Jane Moore Sumner, b. abt. 1831 TN or MO, d. Nov. 1, 1919 in Portland, Oregon; buried Etna Cemetery, Polk County, OR. Her best friend and cousin was Margaret Melissa Moore (never married) who was a daughter of Alfred Moore and Mahulda Bullard. Lucinda Jane and Margaret Melissa are buried near each other in Etna Cemetery as per Esther Anderson Barker's work, and others'. I'm interested in who Mahulda Bullard's mother was, for one thing. Also, if anyone knows for sure where Lucinda Jane Moore was born - TN or MO? Many versions of that. Also many versions of what happened to Alfred Moore.
