She was daughter of Bowyer and Elizabeth (Hodges) Bullard. Bowyer's father was John and I think his father was Joseph. Will double check this for accuracy. I have more but will take a bit of time to check it all out. You are right about the Kersy name being spelled various ways - common error as census takers didn't always get name spellings right. Luke was a lawyer type and I don't think he had children. Also believe that I read that he married Patrick Htnry's sister. WIll look through my file for more info. I, Too, have copies of the letters written by ELizabethtBullard. THey are in a library in s.w. Missouri. Times were hard for her during and after the war and she had to sell some of her land and needed the written approval of all her children.
