I am looking for Emily Mizer who married my Great Uncle Amos Foreman in OK about 1886. He was part Delaware Indian. He died in 1887 so they weren't married very long and had no children. As his grave was relocated in 1978 I inquired of the Corp of Engineers and received documentation. The removal and re-internment were signed for by Bess Mizer Bridges granddaughter of Michael R., daughter of Benjamin, and niece of Emily Mizer. There is also a letter from Michael who sent money for the burial and says "the boys brought Emy home". The documents say Emily is buried in Caney, Kansas, which I would like to find. I have found an Emily Foreman who married William Drake in Kansas in 1900, but don't find either after that. There are Drakes, Mizers and Foremans living near each other in OK. in 1900. I am glad I found your information and, if you can tell me any more I would appreciate it. Also happy to share my info.
