Cooper. He died 12 MAR 1934 in Jane, McDonald Co. MO and was buried in Dug Hill Cemetery in Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas. I am trying to find out if his father was Benjamin T. Stafford: do the MO/SOS/deaths online the certificate should show his parents names. He died in McDonald county,Mo.so enter his name scroll thru counties click on McDonald, he should be on that list. If by some chance he is not, go back, select all, sometimes it seems they get list one place but not both and for other readers this also applies in reverse. You can enlarge and print off, too.

I'm looking for information regarding William P Boles & Belle Reno. I believe they also had a daughter Maxine. Does anyone on the list have knowledge of their deaths? I notice they both died 1917. They are both buried in the Fox Cemetery at Powell.They died at such a young age. Any information would be grateful. Margaret

It may help others as it did me to know McDonald co. land was among the last settlement acres in Missouri(land office applications). I mumble the question why would a family moved completely, cattycorner across state. And Lady next to me , very much a expert in such. Told me last cheap land. This is a very interesting county for Missouri History buffs. I see where you're searching for VanPool and Robertson in McDonald County, but I'm unclear from looking at your site that you referenced what information you are looking for. The VanPool and Robertson families were founders of the Fairview Church on State Line Road, just north of Southwest City. I've got quite a bit of information, but don't want to duplicate what you might already have. It would help a lot if you have specific questions. It appears from looking at your information that you might be questioning where your families were in 1860? They don't show up on the census of McDonald County, but then the War took a lot of folks to Texas between 1860 - 1864. There are also some other families near where they settled that came from Moniteau and Cooper Counties during that time. Other names that married into the VanPool's and Robertson's were Amos and Smith. He had a daughter named Elanora Elizabeth, b. July 28, 1870. She married Marion Francis "Frank" Robinson December 8, 1906 in Carthage, Jasper, Missouri. They had a son named Lester "Lee" Robinson b. July 31, 1911. He married Emma Shewmaker and they had a daughter named Julie(my mother)b. 1950.
