I know that once or twice a year families go and help clean the area. The Jones are in northeast corner area. Lewis Jones my gg grandfather, his son and wife, cousins, uncles, and a niece are buried in that area. there is a couple that does place flaga on the graves of veterans. i will try and find out more information about this. I must make a correction. Pineville, not Southwest City is the county seat. There were two competing communities to be the county seat from 1849-1857. Rutledge lost to Pineville because the legislature passed a statute that a county seat had to be within 5 miles of the geographical center of a county.
