Obit., Unterrified Democrat, February 1975: " Mrs. Henry John Bure, 74, Brinktown, died Feb. 18 (1975) at a Jefferson City Hospital where he had been a patient for one month. Mr. Bure was born may 7, 1907, to Henry and Augusta Prott Bure in Brinktown of which he was a lifelong resident. Survivors include: one brother, John Bure, Brinktown; three sisters - Mrs. Margaret Hutson, Brinktown; Mrs. Theresa Hillen, Jefferson City; and Miss Anna Bure, Columbia. He was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church where services were conducted on Feb. 21 with Rev. Mers officiating. Burial was in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna."
