Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper: "John A. Buschmann, 72, Vienna, was burned to death early this morning (Oct. 30, 1973) at his home. Mr. Buschmann was born Sept. 24, 1901 at Vienna, a son of Henry and Wilhelmina Buschmann. He was married Nov. 20, 1923 at Vienna to Clara Struemph, who survives. Mr. Buschmann was a retired farmer. Other survivors include: a son, Arthur Buschmann, California; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Woll, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Mrs. Helen Rudin, St. Louis. Four brothers, Frank Buschmann, William Buschmann, Tony Buschmann and Ben Buschmann, all of Vienna; a sister, Miss Mary Buschmann, also of Vienna; and 15 grandchildren. The rosary will be prayed today at the Birmingham funeral Home at Vienna. Funeral services will be Wednesday at the Visitation Catholic Church at Vienna, with the Rev. James Mohan officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery."
