Found this family in 1870, West Plains, Howell County, Missouri with siblings Charles and Sarah. In 1880, Malinda and children Nancy, Charles, and Sarah are back in Maries County, Missouri. (William died in Howell County, Missouri and she & the kids returned home) Found a marriage in Maries County, Missouri 31 May 1885---Nancy Giesler and John Ballance. Found a death certificate Nancy E Ballance born Oct 4 1857 in West Plains, Missouri and died Dec 22, 1943 in St Louis, Missouri and buried in St James, Missouri. Parents are not listed , wife of John Ballacne, and informant Walter Ballance of the same address listed that as Nancy E Ballance on death certificate. Her usual address was listed as St James, Phelps County, Missouri. Both siblings of Nancy E Giesler....Sarah & Charles have parents on their death certificates as William Giesler and Malinda Barnes. You have this Nancy Giesler as the daughter of Samuel Giesler and Elizabeth. Was your Nancy also born in West Plains, Missouri?
