    3. I have a Mary/Malinda Giesler that married James Martin Vanburen Fann (Son of George Fann). He married lst a Malinda, believed to be Giesler (See 1870 Census for Malinda. (Mary Giesler on Robert L. Fann's death Certificate) The are on the 1870 Census for Maries County, however they are listed under "John", as the surname: 1870 Census, Maries Co, Johnson Twp, MO John, James, age 29, m/w, Farmer, born MO (born Mar 1841) (Surname is Fann, not John) John, "Malinda", age 24, f/w, keeping house, born MO (born ca 1846) John, Rhoda J, age 2 f/w, at home, born MO (Mar. Thos Henry Woodruff) John, Robert L, age 3/12, born Feb, at home, born MO (Robert L. Fann died 5 Nov 1938, and is buried in the Boon Creek Cemetery, Franklin Co, MO. (James and Malinda married on/a 1867/68?) Malinda must have died before 1880 census, as James Fann is with new wife, Eliza in 1880 1880 Census, Jackson Twp, Maries Co, MO, house #235, 21 June 1880 Fann, James, age 41, born MO, FPOB; TN, MPOB; TN Fann, Eliza, age 38, born MO, TN, TN Fann, Rhoda, age 12, born MO Fann, Robert L, age 9, born MO Fann, James, age 6, born MO Fann, George, age 4, born MO Fann, Charley, age 1, born MO Sheffield, Perry?, age 15, stepson, single, MO MO MO MO (not sure about surname) Sheffield, Jos. age 13, stepson, single, MO MO MO (not sure about surname) Would be interesting to know who this Mary/Malinda's parent's are.
