Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1968: " Burgess Campbell, 59, formerly of Belle, died Sunday, July 7, 1968 at a hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Campbell was born Aug. 5, 1908, the son of Wallace H. and Lucy Mahaney Campbell. He married the former Miss Myrtle Bauman, Feb. 3, 1930 at Vienna. Survivors include; four sons, Robert Campbell, Fenton; Raymond Campbell, Union; Edward Campbell and William, both of St. Louis; one daughter, Mrs. Irma Gatewood, Arnold; one brother, Fred Campbell, Belle; two sisters, Mrs. Sophie West and Mrs. Addie Walker, both of Belle, and six grandchildren."
