Obit.- Unterrified Democrat, Linn, Missouri - 1985: "Adolph B. Bax, 83, Vienna, died Monday April 1, 1985 at a Jefferson City hospital. He was born April 26, 1901 at Koeltztown, a son of Joseph Bax and Anna Brunnert Bax. On July 11, 1933, he was married at St, Louis to the former Miss Loretta Brandel, who survives at the home. He was a member of the Visitation Catholic church, Vienna. He was a fourth degree member of the Argyle Knights of Columbus Council NO. 2047. Prior to his retirement in 1969, he had worked as a commercial painter for 45 years. Other survivors include: one son, Bob J. Bax of St. Louis; one daughter, Mrs. Vivian B. Sagehorn of St. Louis; one brother, Matt Bax of Koeltztown; two sisters, Mrs. Coletta Bax of Richfountain and Mrs. Hilda Bax of Koeltztown; and 5 grandchildren. Services were held Thursday at the Visitation Church, Vienna. Burial was at the Visitation Cemetery, Vienna."
