Norman O. Glawson 09/10/2008 Norman O. Glawson, 95, Washington, passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, in Washington. Mr. Glawson was born Jan. 10, 1913, in St. Louis, the son of Colmor Glawson and wife Delphia, nee Roberson. On April 9, 1942, he was united in marriage to Willeta Hines in Salem, Ark. Mr. Glawson owned a shoe store. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and three brothers, Earl, Charles and Arthur Glawson. Mr. Glawson is survived by two sons, Ed Glawson and wife Ginny, Holts Summit, and Geary Gordon and wife Kay, Mayfield, Ky.; two daughters, Linda Krausch and special friend Tom Thomure, Washington, and Charlotte Heil, Granada Hills, Calif.; seven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 1, at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington, with the Rev. Earlwood Towne officiating. Interment was in Washington Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association are preferred.
