Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1971: "Mrs. Sarah Belle Arendall, 73, of Belle, died Thursday, Feb. 25 (1971) at a Washington, Mo. hospital. She had been a patient at a nursing home at Mt. Sterling for about three months before admitted to the hospital. Death was attributed to pneumonia. Mrs. Arendall was the widow of J. A. (Art) Arendall, Belle Barber, and had lived alone on mainstreet following his death some 20 years ago. She was born Oct. 20, 1897, at Lanes Prairie, daughter of Edward Geisler and Millicent Mitchem Geisler. She and Mr. Arendall were married at Lanes Prairie, Nov. 13, 1919. Survivors include two children, Truman L. Arendall, Dupo, Ill; Millicent Sharpe, Enid, Okla..; eight grand children and one great grandchild; and a brother, Oliver Geisler, Belle. A brother, Everett Geisler has died. Services were held Sunday at the Liberty Church of Christ with Minister Arvil Elrod officiating and burial was made in the church cemetery there."
