    3. Obit., - Mid-Missouri newspaper - 1975: " Funeral services for Earl Laster Jenkins were held Friday, February 28, (1975) at the Jones Funeral Home at Belle. Mr. Jenkins is believed to have died sometime Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1975. he lived on the Virgil Smith farm in the Beulah neighborhood for year and cared for Mr. Smith's cattle. When he was not seen Tuesday, Vic Butler, a neighbor, called Pete Jenkins, a brother. The two went to the house and found Mr. Jenkins dead in bed. He had suffered from a heart condition. Mr. Jenkins was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Glad Tidings Evangelical Association. Last rites were conducted by the Rev. A. A. Wulff of Hermann. Burial was in Campbell Cemetery. Mr. Jenkins was born in Gasconade County, April 10, 1911, the son of John and Gracie Miller Jenkins. Survivors include: four brothers, John L. "Pete" Jenkins, Belle; Woodrow and Chas. Jenkins, Union; Rev. Bob Jenkins, Belle; and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith, Owensville; Mrs. Dorothy Johns, Mrs. Clara Dreenam, St. Clair; and Mrs. Edna Kelly, Union."
