After mother died, I found copies of the marriage certificated for Robert E. and his three wives among her things. He was married to Josephine Shelton of Miller County first on Nov. 28, 1886 and was too young so his father had to give his consent on the marriage license. I don't know how Josephine died, but assume, as you said, in childbirth with Robert Owen Crismon. Robert E. married Josephine Mettabarger of Maries Co. on the 22 of Aug., 1889 next and again I assume she died in childbirth as you say. His third to Clora Belle Graham was on the 28th day of Aug., 1892. Clora Belle died on Nov. 10, 1906.
