Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1972: " Mrs. Ada Mae Jones, 78, of Belle, died Monday at Federal State Soldiers Home, St. James. Mrs. Jones was born August 7, 1894, in Maries County, the daughter of John and Alice Branson Rogers. She was married August 12, 1912 near Vienna, to Alfred Burton Homes, who died January 18, 1972. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include three sons; Clinton Jones, Carney Jones and Alfred Jones, all of Belle; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Holeman, Belle. There are also seven brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be held today at Liberty Church of Christ, with Brother Orville Elrod officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Jones Funeral Home of Belle is in charge of arrangements."
