    3. Bob Prater: Thank you for the information. In your Courtwright research do you have anything related to a J.D. Courtwright? He married Martha Virginia Hancks on May 11, 1890 in Osage County, Missouri and was the father of Charles Courtwright, the one in my original query. Charles was born in 1889 at Summerfield, Jefferson Township, Osage County, Missouri. I appears that J.D. and Martha got the cart before the horse somewhat. The only likely candidate that I can come up with in the Missouri Census records is a Judson Courtwright, age 12 in 1880, in the household of T. B. Gray, Osage Township, Cole County, Missouri along with two girls named Laura and Annie Courtwright. They were apparently sisters and brother to Nancy Gray, the wife of T.B. Gray. Thanks again for your help.
