Light showing he was in Phelps Co. as late as 1891 when he rec'd land patent. Also, the following shows he may have gone to Illiois . . . Civil War Pension Index: General Index to Pension Files, 1861-1934 [database on-line Ancestry) Co.D, 8th MO is what's shown for his civil War service, so this is the same person. I should have checked the 1930 census of Illinois for Mary Jennie Light before I answered, but we're in the middle of moving our household this week and am just taking a minute here.
