Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1971: " Clarence Homer Juegensmeyer, son of the late John and Mary Jurgensmeyer, was born Nov. 4, 1901 in Vichy and died November 19, 1971 at his home in Vichy at the age of 70 years. In 1926, he was united in marriage to Dollie Chambers. Mr. Jurgensmeyer spent his entire life in the Vichy area and was engaged in farming for many years. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Vichy. Mr. Jurgensmeyer was preceded in death by his mother and father, three brothers, Joe, John and Otto Jurgensmeyer; and three sisters, Minnie Fannon, Mable Shockley and Ethel Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Dollie; one sister, Annie Grunwald of Rolla; and two brothers, Jess of Vichy and Virgil of St. Louis. Funeral services were conducted the following Thursday, Dec. 2, in the United Pentecostal Church of Vichy with Rev.. Joseph Olds officiating. Music was provided by Janis Blackwell. Interment was in the Macedonia cemetery. The pallbearers were Jim Chambers, Jim Jurgensmeyer, Jack Bailey, Bob Rainey, Charles Jurgensmeyer and Jim Potter.
