Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1983: " Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Lepper, 80, of Eugene, were held yesterday, March 8 (1983), at Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home. Mrs. Lepper died Sunday, March 6 (1983) At Charles E. Still Osteopathic Hospital in Jefferson City. Born June 21, 1902, in Koeltztown, the daughter of Stephen and Marie Lux Sandbothe, Helen Sandbothe was married to Anton Lepper in Koeltztown in 1923. Her husband preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1952. Mrs. Lepper lived in the Mary's Home community most of her life, and was a member of Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality there. She is survived by three sons, Fred Lepper of Mary's Home, Clarence Lepper of Jefferson City; and Albert Lepper of Holts Summit; two daughters, Mrs. Veronica Kempker of Jefferson City of Jefferson City, and Mrs. Leona Eichholz of Westphalia; one brother, Alex Sandbothe of Nevada, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Hoff of St. Louis; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Mary's Home Cemetery."
