Obituary, Vienna Advisor, Vienna, Missouri, January 16, 1947: " Mr. Conrad Schulte died in the home of his sister, Mrs. Jos. Kleffner, Sunday (12 January 1947) after a short illness. The deceased was born near Westphalia on May 7, 1866, and lived in that community until about 20 years ago when he moved to Brinktown and has made his home with his sister since. He is survived by three brothers and four sisters: Herman Schulte of Jefferson City; Henry Schulte of Folk ( on the home place); and George Schulte of some western state; Mrs. William Albers of St. Cloud, Minn.; Mrs. Steve Doerhoff of St. Elizabeth; Mrs. Ben Rehagen of Westphalia; and Mrs. Joseph Kleffner of this place. Funeral services were conducted from Guardian Angel Church Tuesday morning, following a Requiem High mass, Father J. G. Nolte, the pastor officiating, and interment was made in the parish cemetery. We extend sincere sympathy. The pall bearers were Joseph Buechter, Eddie Buchheit, Lawrence Kleffner, Anthony Rehagen, Vincent Doerhoff and Frank Heiman. Those from a distance attending the funeral were: Mrs. Ben Rehagen and son, Anthony of Westphalia; Messrs Frank Heiman and Vincent Doerhoff of St. Elizabeth, Mrs. Ben Schloss and daughter, Mrs. Raymond Buchheit, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Buchheit of St. Louis."
