You might want to try cemetery records for Maries county and possibly Miller county. Since he was killed on the Crismon property he may have been buried nearby unless his family was contacted and they came to remove his body. That fact may have been published in the paper as well because murder always makes good press. Good luck! I would love to hear the outcome of this mystery.
