Obit., mid- Missouri newspaper - 1973: " John M. Fitzpatrick, 80, Argyle, died Tuesday, June 12 (1973) at the Federal State Soldiers Home, St. James. He was born July 24, 1892 in Maries County, the son of Bart and Margaret Birmingham Fitzpatrick. He married the former Miss Elizabeth Luebbert, Nov. 14, 1924, at Jefferson City. She died December 29, 1972. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 14, at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle, with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ralph Kutz officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery."
