Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1972: " Elias F. Koerber, 87, Brinktown, died Tuesday (Oct. 17, 1972) at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1885, at Richfountain, the son of John and Kuda E. Grau Koerber. Mr. Koerber was married may 28, 1918, at Brinktown, to the former Miss Mary Kersting, who survives at the home. Mr. Koerber had retired as a farmer in the Brinktown vicinity. Other survivors include: four sons, Steve Koerber and Henry Koerber, Fenton; John Koerber, High Ridge; Leo Koerber, Delwood; two daughters, Mrs.. Catherine Beutel, Arnold; and Mrs. Anna Moreland, Hermann. One brother, Michael Koerber, Argyle; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The rosary will be said at the Birmingham Funeral Home, Vienna. Funeral services will be Friday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Brinktown, with Rev. Bernard Mers officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery."
