Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1971: Felix Sandbothe, 29, of Jefferson City, died late Sunday, August 8 , (1971). Mr. Sandbothe was born Dec. 6, 1941, at Vienna, the son of Ben and Magdalen Wieberg Sandbothe. He was married May 5, 1962, to Barbara J. Steinmetz, who survives. Mr. Sandbothe was a member of St. Stanislaus Parish, Wardsville, and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Other survivors include three children: Tammy Sandbothe, Jeffrey Sandbothe and James Sandbothe, all of the home; his mother, Magdalen Sandbothe, Jefferson City; six brothers, Joe Sandbothe, Jefferson City; Ed Sandbothe, Taos; Robert Sandbothe and Quentin Sandbothe, all of Jefferson City, and Roger Sandbothe, serving in Vietnam; four sisters, Mrs. Emil Mueller, Mrs. Robert Branch and Mrs. Clifford Branson, all of St. Louis, and Mrs. Harold Henley, Jefferson City. Funeral services were held at Sty. Stanislaus Catholic church, Wardsville. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
