Her parents were Sylvester Keeney and Lulu Augusta Franklin. Sylvester's parents were James O. Keeney and Delinda Rodgers (Rogers?). Delinda's parents were Martin Rodgers and Mahala Gaither. James O. Keeney's parents were Sylvester P. Keeney and Julie Pattie. Lulu Augusta's parents were Robert Franklin and Martha Branson. Robert's parents were George Franklin and Mary Ann Ryan. Martha Branson's parents were Andrew Branson and unknown Williams. George Franklin and Mary Ann Ryan came over on the boat from Scotland and Ireland. My dad says Grandma used to tell a story, which he cannot remember exactly, and at one time he had it figured that he was 1/16th Indian - through his mother Ruby Keeney Ready.
