If I can find a granddaughter she must be descended from a daughter of Bertie's. I am trying to prove all the traditional stories of Martha Dill being of native american heritage. Martha Dill would have been Bertie's grandmother. Bertie's mother, Roena, certainly looked like an Indian. I have a DNA test on hand and it will cost nothing to have it done. I am descended from Bertie's half brother, Emory Bull, and DNA cannot be proven from his descendants about his mother's side of the family. Thank you.
