Jackie, I am not researching the Gardner's but here is a little information. 1880 census: (Boone Twp) Maries County William Gardner age 42 (Ky) parents (Ky) Louisa age 29 (Mo) parents (Tn) Willard P. age 10 (Mo) Charles E. age 3 (Mo) William Gardner married Louisa Wilson, 3/28/1869. David Napoleon Gardner married Martha Ann James, 2/27/1876. 1900 census: (Johnson Township) David N. Gardner age 49 (Tn) father (Tn) mother (Va) Martha A. age 50 (Mo) father (Tn) mother (Ohio) Edna L. age 19 (Mo) Ina M. Little age 23 (Mo) dau Warren J. Little age 30 (ILL) son-in-law I believe some of these Gardners are related to the Gardners in Miller County.
