The 1860 census was published by Wanda Hodge, but is now out of print. I wrote to her about 6 months ago asking for permission to put it online on the Maries County page but she said no, she had plans for it. The 1870 has been transcribed twice. Once by Joan Kunkel, and I believe is long out of print. The second transcription was only copied for a few people and never published for sale. I think it was done by a member of the society as a gift to them. I have both and can do a lookup for you, Judy ----- Original Message ----- From: PENNY <PENNYPEACE@prodigy.net> To: <MOMARIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 21, 2001 1:37 PM Subject: [MOMARIES] CENSUS TRANSCRIPTIONS > Does anyone know if there have been any transcriptions of the 1860 and 1870 > Maries Census?
