Penny, I cannot think of a single resource to help you. The Maries County courthouse burned in Nov 1868, destroying it. I am not aware of any records which survived. In the deeds are a few deeds from before the fire that people brought to town and refiled to be able to establish title to their land. Other than that, I know of nothing.
