Friends: For what it's worth, here is what I have on Telitha Martin Cowan. She and David Cowan have tombstones with dates in the Stokes Cemetery in Maries County (her name on the stone is spelled Telitha, last name on stones spelled Cowen). Telitha Jane Martin, dau of George Martin and Mary Ann Vaughan Born: Feb 20, 1818 Died: Sept 10, 1895 Married David Cowen Born: Sept 12, 1812 Died: Nov 23, 1871 My info shows their dau Mary marrying Isaac Helton (who also married Elizabeth Hughes) and another dau Eliza Jane marrying Albert Pinkney Barnhart. These are the only two children I have (?). I always appreciate corrections, but wanted to weigh in with what I have in my info.
