Friends: Yesterday I had the pleasure of speaking to Delphia Jennings Waldron at Kenner Cemetery in Dry Creek Township, Maries County MO. She and I were both placing flowers at the graves of Samuel Valentine Robertson and Sarah ³Violet² Loupe Robertson. Mrs. Waldron told me she was 84 years old. She recalled Sam and Violet Robertson telling about an old log church which used to stand on what became their property. She described it as being up the hill, not far from the graves of Thomas and Elizabeth Davis (and others) who are buried there. Mozelle Hutchison makes brief mention of this old church on page 123 of THE CEMETERIES OF MARIES COUNTY. If anyone else on this list knows anything about that old log church I would surely love to hear about it. Melinda Elmore
