    3. Hi! I also research the Copeland family. I descend form William Copeland and Martha Taff. My great-grandparents Joseph and Belle Copeland are second cousins. They moved from Maries CO to Pulaski CO,, then on to St. Louis. I live close to Maries CO, in Phelps CO. There still are alot of Copelands around this area. A branch of them moved to St. James, in this county. There is Copeland Bus Sales, and Copeland Real Estate in St. James. I know there still are a bunch in Dixon, where my great-grandparents are buried and my grandpa was born. I grew up in St. Louis, and it's exciting to live so close to my ancestors now! I remember going to the Maries County Courthouse one time and the lady who worked there said that her grandma was a Copeland. That was neat. I'm sure half the county or better is related somehow to the Copelands. I also have finally met a couple of very close Copeland cousins in the past few years. By the way, does anyone know how James Eads, the one who built Eads Bridge in St. Louis, is related? I'm also interested in the Copeland connection with the Boone family. I think that's neat. I am looking for more info on Barton Parks and Martha Rowden. Patty My lines: Copeland, Taff, Stewart, Parks, Carnes, Lowry, Breedlove. My Copeland page with many pics is at: http://pegasus_2.tripod.com/copeland.htm
