AMMERMAN BURIED AT LIBERTY Services for Mrs. Minnie J. Ammerman, 78, wife of A.S. Ammerman of St. James, were Saturday at the St. James Church of Christ with Luther W. Martin officiating. Burial was at Liberty Cemetery near Belle. Mrs. Ammerman died at noon, Wednesday, August 26. She was born May 31, 1886 at Lanes Prairie and lived in the area the greater portion of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ for nearly 50 years, having first become a member of the old Lindell congregation, later becoming a member at Vichy, and finally at St. James where the family moved 10 years ago. She and Mr. Ammerman were married June 30, 1907. Surviving with the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Opal Southard of High Gate, Mrs. Florence Granata of San Antonio; and Mrs. Roberta Higgins of Geneva, Ill. Two sons, Noel D. and Milford W.
