He was born at Rich Fountain on Jan. 26, 1878, the son of John Mengwasser and Agness Struemph Mengwasser. Mr. Mengwasser was never married. He was a farmer and stockraiser. He was a life long member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Rich Fountain and was the last of his family. Services were conducted at the Sacred Heart Church Tuesday morning with Rev.
