I think it is a good possibility he married Amanda/Armanda SNEED but don't know what happened to my g-grandmother, Mary Ann (Polly) VAUGHN. Can't prove it either. According to what we have Louis FREY (jr.?) m. Mary RAMEY in 1880, Maries County, MO and remained married to her until his death in 1909. The information we have is from the Maries County, MO marriage records and Maries County, MO, A County/ Family History Vol II, pg 399 ---- Armanda SNEED b. 1860 M. Louis Frey. Don't know when, where, or with whom Louis FREY (sr.?) lived. Just know, by birth record, he was in Maries County, MO in 1859 when my grandfather James W. FREY was born to Louis (sr.?) and Mary Ann (Polly) VAUGHN. The only children I am aware of are the three listed in my original post. Would like to know anything. This is my brick wall. Hi Roger: Yes, I also found what King had written, and eventually found the marriage for Amanda Sneed and Louis Frey. I have been unable to found any other record for Louis and Amanda. Amanda Melvina Sneed, born 8 May 1860, died 31 August 1915 and is buried in the Ramsey Cemetery in Dry Creek Twp, near Hayden, MO. She is a g-g-g aunt, sister to William "Bud" Sneed. I do not have her death certificate. There is a mystery here that I would like to solve. The fact that she is recorded in the 1900 and 1910 census as "Sneed" when she was in fact married to a "Frey" leaves me to think that "the marriage was not made in heaven". The daughter, Tina, was married as a Sneed also. Thank you for responding. Will let you know if additional information is found. Wanda
