My gr. great grandmother was Catharine Shanks said to be born in Knoxville, Tn about 1834. She married Thomas Moss in Osage Co, Mo. in 1867. On their marriage certificate it gives her name as Catharine Shanks Mc Minnor. They had at least three children, Mary E.b. 1869, Susan Catherine b. 1871, George Washington b. 1874. My mother knew George as Uncle Bill from Arkansas. This is all of the information I can find, any help would be greatly appreciated. Karen.
