Peter was the son of Wade Renfro and Elizabeth Phillips from Crawford County. Martha "Mary" Fulkerson was the daughter of Thomas Poteet Fulkerson and Adalida Moore from Maries County. Martha's sister was Selbrina Fulkerson who married Roysdon Roberson Jr. Apparently, the Fulkersons and Robersons came from Tennessee at the same time and were neighbors in Maries County. I am searching for any information on the Renfros and Fulkersons. I am not able to locate the marriage license for Peter Renfro and Martha "Mary" Fulkerson in Osage, Gasconade, Crawford or Maries County and need help! I find that there is a Fulkerson Cemetary and wonder if anyone has a list of those buried there. Thanks so much!!!

There is one Fulkerson buried at Fulkerson Cemetery. Miss Laura Fulkerson, born in Maries County, 11/27/1853-12/4/1910 Aged 57 years, 6 days. My grandmother, Martha May Roberson Nelson, wrote about Laura Fulkerson: "Aunt Laura Fulkerson was a sister of Silbrina. She never married and died when about 58 years old. I remember her. She was slim and had real black eyes and hair. She lived with grandmother (Silbrina), then when grandmother died she just lived with the relation awhile at each place. Aunt Laura was sickly when I remember her, so she wasn't able to make her own living. She mostly stayed at Tom Bodendick's. His wife's name was Alice." Silberina Fulkerson married Roysden Roberson and they are ancestors to several of us on this list.
